About our Massage Stew-dio

As a New Yorker, we are always on the go and always moving with no time for taking care of ourselves. Especially with inflation rising we are all working more and spending less time on taking care of bodies. My name is Shakirah Stewart. I'm a licensed massage therapist based in Staten Island. I created Art of Healing Mobile Massage as a way to bring self-care back into your routine so we can have better mental and physical stability as we go about our everyday lives. As an LMT, I want to bring wellness and holistic healing to my community and expand self-care in black and brown neighborhoods. Sometimes there are no outlets for our emotional stress to go and I want Art of Healing Mobile Massage to help assist my community in a healing process of making self-care normal. Being a Mobile massage business, you can bring holistic healing right to your door without having to deal with getting dressed and going outside as you probably do everyday going to work. I combine an Eastern style of massage with western to bring a whole sense of holistic health. We want our clients to not just see Art of healing as a place for massage but a safe space to be able to relax, regenerate, and strengthen the body and mind. I do home visits as well as corporate events. As I grow and expand I will find more ways to help our community continue their self care practice and continue to expand my knowledge as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
